Before I left for Asia, I bought a few hundred worth of Nordstrom gift cards for $0.99 shipping. Office Max has now raised it to $2.49 per card. I slowed my purchases from Office Max and would have stopped because of the Open savings are going away, but this just expedited me from purchasing more from them.
I went through my Paypal account and added a new credit card and entered all of my Visa prepaid card information with success when I purchased my Staples gift card on eBay from Gift Card Mall
I did not test this out because I would have incurred a nearly 3% fee if I sent money to a person. If I sent it to a business that my friend operates, they would have been assessed the fee.
This opportunity to pay with prepaid cards on Paypal provides us to earn bonus miles in non bonus categories where you buy the prepaid cards with a high bonus earning card then fund with Paypal. If you gift card churn over eBay you could earn eBay Bucks and double dip.
This is a great avenue for to review because paying with Paypal can free up access to Amazon Payments when using American Express gift cards because there is no PIN. The big caveat is, what does Paypal think with the constant churn of cards? How many is too many before a shutdown?
Just saw an email from US Airways’ Triple Miles and American Airlines Double Miles Promotion and Neiman Marcus is part of the list of promotions. We know that Chase will credit Ultimate Rewards Point when purchasing through the UR Mall. Since the UR Mall is run by Cartera as is the US Airways Dividend Miles and American Airlines Mall, we can expect the extra miles to work as well. At the cheapest for physical gift cards, this opportunity will allow you to buy points at $.009/point. Buy 1 $1000 gift card and 1 $500 for a total of $1510, there’s a $5 fee per gift card. The promotion for both is 12x miles and 5x for the Chase Ultimate Rewards from the Freedom card. The total haul of points and miles will be 25,550 at a cost $226.50.

US Airway’s Triple Miles for Neiman Marcus
American Airlines has a double miles at 12x
Gift Card Granny showing us that when we sell the Neiman Marcus card it will cost us 15% of the card’s value for the $226.50
I am not sure how long the triple miles offer will go. Best to jump on it as soon as you can. I am also undecided if I will take advantage of this deal. It is right up my alley of buying miles/points under a penny.
I have been behind on my purchases for all of my credit cards from being away to spending the on my American Express Starwood Preferred Guest card.
Earlier I had posted about a US Bank targeted offer where you spend $3500, and was pretty excited about the offer. I remember going to A&P once and saw variable load gift cards for $5.95 and will be spending the rest of my money to hit the $3,500 there.
To my surprise, there is a gigantic offer at A&P.
